CURVED ART DECO PANELS

A pair of curved panel sets with serpentine panels used around two stair wells in an art deco cinema.Could be used in a similar fashion or used as partitions.Could be joined up to make one long piece using associated decorative posts.

Dimensions in inches.Comprising;

2 serpentine shaped panels 64 wide by 66 height by approx 9 max depth-the semicircular top frames were originall open and the backing now on could easily be removed.Curved skirting not attached on piece but available.

2 shorter panels with decorative infil to the top semicircular frame(also with ply backing which could be removed)28" and 29.5" wide by 66" high

4 decorative posts or newels-73/74 inches tall by 6" square and 8.5 "square at the top.

-2 panels (from directly above the stairwell) 59" by 34" high



Also from this job a 16 foot panel which would make an excellent bar front- please see other page.

ART DECO PANEL - IDEAL BAR FRONT

Art deco cinema panelling comprising a top piece of 190.5" long by 39" high  with geometric mouldings and a bottom piece 34" high with two posts.It could be reinstated as per the insitu picture or the top piece would make an excellent bar front.The bottom piece has some damage.

There is some associated curved panelling also from the same job- please see other page.To be sold as a job lot.

And two pairs of bevelled glass doors-please see in doors section.

LARGE GILDED PANELS FROM ARGENTINIAN EMBASSY

A pair of decorative gilded panels from the Argentinian Embassy in Rio de Janeiro.Purchased in Rio de Janeiro in  approx 1979 when the embassy moved to Brasilia.Then moved to France, then England.

Eleven and a half feet tall by tfeet wide each.

I will add better pictures later.

ANTIQUE PAIR OF INDIAN COLUMNS

A charming pair of 19 century indian hardwood pilasters or columns richly carved with flora and fauna,faces and a clockface.The columns are similar but the capitals and brackets have differing carvings.Note the birds pecking at berries on one of the columns.Painted all over in soft pastel colours.

These are large and heavy.

I will arrange delivery if necessary.

8 MATCHING PITCH PINE BARLEYTWIST COLUMNS

A set of 8 matching pitch pine barley twist columns(slightly different heights but can be cut to exact matching heights)

Possibly from a church.From far north of scotland.

Can be cleaned and oiled/revived if necessary.Age is 100 years or more.

Plenty of uses-4 poster bed, decoration,screen,pilasters behind a bar.

Between 78 and 80" tall,3 and 3/8" diameter.

5 LARGE HEAVILY CARVED OAK CHURCH PANELS

Five fine antique carved oak panels from a church pulpit.Dimensions in inches;all 22.25 wide by 34 tall by 3 and 3/8 deep(central panel 6 max depth).Could be used as a run of wall panelling, individually as wall hangings.Excellent quality carvings in good order.
