A late 19th century - approx 1880 - arts and crafts cast iron fire grate of pleasing form.English.To be sold restored and with new firebrick.
Dimensions in inches: 29.5 high by 23 wide by 14 deep.Interior of grate approx 14 by 9 deep by 6 high to front bars.

 GEORGIAN PINE AND GESSO FIRE SURROUND
A large Georgian period pine and gesso fire surround.In good but not perfect condition with build up of paint.Would work well as a fire surround or maybe as a mirror frame.A good colour as is -it would work well as is, maybe with the addition of a simple shelf.

 VICTORIAN MARBLE FIRE SURROUND
An antique victorian St Annes fossil marble fire surround with rouge marble highlights and mouldings and fluted centre panel on the frieze and fluted lower jambs. Classical design and pleasing colour.
Several breaks in mouldings but complete.Two chips to rouge marble mouldings on left jamb.

An antique victorian good quality. cast iron combination fireplace. A classical moulded surround with an exceptional surreal set of original art nouveau tiles.May split tiles and fireplace.

 CAST IRON FIRE SURROUND WITH INSERT - COMPLETE
A fireplace comprising of a cast iron surround with original faux walnut painted decoration, a grate and tiled panels.
The surround is in good condition with a minor scratch to the frieze.The grate is in good useable condition and is complete with adjustable chromed brass hood,ash pan and front, removeable baffle plate and an adjustable front grille that can be adjusted to a vertical or horizontal position.
I will split the surround and grate if necessary.
Dimensions in inches: The shelf is 58.5(body 55 wide) by 9 deep,the height is 50 and the opening is 37 wide by 38 high.The grate is 37 high by 18 wide by 22 deep with front grille flat.Inner useable area of grate is 12 wide by 10.5 deep.

 UNUSUAL STEEL FIREPLACE INSERT
An unusual antique steel fireplace grate with D shaped hearth through which the ash pans can be removed using a sliding tray (please see photos).Will need new hearth tiles and building back in (it comes in several pieces).I will take more pictures for serious enquiries.
Dimensions in inches:
37high, width of insert is 35.5 with an opening of 21 by 20 high, hearth is 39.25 max wide and 16 max depth.
Comes from a mill in Guisely, Yorkshire.

Heavily painted-could be stripped or scraped back to earlier paint.

 LARGE WROUGHT IRON NEO GOTHIC FIREBASKET
A Scottish wrought iron neo gothic fire basket / dog grate.The back is decorated with large wrought iron thistle and leaves-the larger middle one being approx. 14 inches across.This grate is made entirely of wrought iron including the 4 thistle finials surmounting the grate.Finely made by J.McHardy & Son, Aberdeen in 1895.
Overall size is 32" wide by 40" high.Interior space in grate is 21.25 by 8.5" deep.
