 ANTIQUE CAST IRON GOTHIC FIREPLACE 1830S
An 1837/38 antique cast iron fire surround with it's original gothic arched insert. From a large house in Coalbrookdale of the same age so could well be from the Coalbrookdale foundry.

shelf is 51.25/130 by 7/18 deep by 7/8 /23 high
opening is 34/86.5 wide by 36.25/92 high.

 UNUSUAL ANTIQUE GOTHIC CAST IRON ARCHED FIREPLACE
An unusual antique gothic cast iron arched fireplace, approx mid 19th century with heavily moulded bolection type outer surround with chamfered feet with an integral ( bolted on ) inner with original bars.
No damage. From a Victorian industrial building.

 UNIQUE WROUGHT IRON FIRE LOG GRATE
An unusual iron dog grate. Rustically sculptured with fishy features.By Michael E Roberts. With accompanying heavy duty stainless steel hood or canopy with wrought iron band.Both hood and grate stamped MER.
Can be sold as is or burnished or grate polished.
One photo shows the grate with an unusual "grotto" style decorated cast iron princess style radiator- please see architectural metalwork section for more details of this and other radiators.

An oak and copper art nouveau fire surround with copper panels to the overmantle columns and a broken swan necked pediment above dentil moulding on the frieze.
In good useable order barring slight glueable damage.
From a approx 1900 pub near Blackburn, Lancashire.

 19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE DOG GRATE
An attractive bow fronted 19th century antique dog grate with scrolled supports and beautiful floral and fishy cast iron back. Had some work, needs a fire brick.

Antique wild rose ( or Dog Rose, Briar Rose) tiles in simple moulded cast iron insert ( without bars).
A beautiful set of 6 x 8 inch Victorian tiles. Unusual.Maker to be determined.

 19TH CENTURY BREAK FRONTED CAST IRON FIRE SURROUND
A good 19th century break fronted cast iron fire surround.
With various decorative mouldings, lidded urns and ribbon tied bell flower swags and drops.
A chunk - approx 2 by 1.25 inches- missing to base of onejamb as shown in close up, no crack.
Diamond mark on back showing a date of 1881.
This has been stripped ( not blasted ) of paint and is ready to be grate polished, burnished and waxed or painted. This can be done or sold as is.

A large french 19th century cast iron insert with repeating diamond shaped floral decoration. Although originally an insert this would make a great fire surround in its own right(simply by plastering up to the edge?) with a dog grate or basket to complete.
