 1950'S POTTERY TABLE LAMPS AND SHADES
A pair of 1950's pottery table lamps with original fabic shades.Can be sold individually.Dimensions in inches:lighter lamp 33 high by 15 wide overall (shade is 16 by 15,pot base is 19 not including lamp holder by 7); darker lamp is 37.5 by 14.25 overall (shade is 15 high by 12.25 at top to 14.25 at base wide, pot base is 22.5 not including lampholder by 7)

 6 CHURCH CHANDELIERS LIGHT FITTINGS 1960S
A set of six chandeliers of simple design with black and gilt steel rings each with 4 hanging matt white opal glass tapering cylindrical shades with metal galleries.Plus two single shade fittings(see photo).All very good quality,complete and in working order.The cables are all modern and earthed and and the height is adjustable;currently the fittings could extend to a maximum height of approx. 7 feet or be shortened to whatever height required by shortening the cables.Dimensions in inches; upper steel rings are 6.5 diameter by 2 high, lower rings are 24.5 by 2, shades are 11 high including galleries and 4 maximum width.
Provenance; St.Raphael's Roman Catholic church, Kingston, London.

 PAIR CARVED ANTIQUE TABLE LAMPS CANDLESTICKS
A large pair of carved candlesticks with triform footed bases. They have been cleverly converted into table lamps but can still be used as candlesticks by simply removing the fittings by hand.They have been paintstripped at some point but retain remnants of paint.Complete with large,very good quality pleated shades.

 SYCAMORE TABLE LAMP BY ALAN PETERS
A beautifully made table lamp by one of the uk's foremost designer makers Alan Peters who has a direct link to the Arts and Crafts movement having been an apprentice to Edward Barnsley.
The lamp has ripple moulded sycamore sides with separate(different wood species) triangular dyed red central inserts, the top and base are rippled sycamore.The handmade paper shade has red calligraphy which i would like to be able to explain and a sycamore frame.Stamped on base -Alan Peters.
The base is immaculate with a natural lustrous finish,the shade has a dark mark on one side and a small length of the shade needs reglueing to the frame but essentially fine.
I don't know the exact age- Alan Peters set up his workshops in the 1960's but it is a lovely item and an antique of the future.

 UNUSUAL ANTIQUE FLOORSTANDING LAMP
A very good quality floorstanding lamp made with chromed brass,cast iron,wood,aluminium and brass fittings.The shade rotates and adjusts to any angle using a ball and socket joint and the height is adjustable.
I have rewired it with an inline switch.

 VINTAGE FLOORSTANDING ANGLEPOISE LAMPS
A pair of antique floorstanding Anglepoise lamps on castors in original paint.Working.From an opticians at Upper Mill, Yorkshire.
Originally designed by George Carwardine using a new type of spring he had designed and patented in 1932.He licensed the manufacturing to Herbert Terry and Sons at Redditch and called it the Anglepoise.

 LARGE ANTIQUE FLOODLIGHT ON STAND
A large antique plated copper or brass spotlight with green paint mounted on a block of pitch pine on a cast iron base.This has been rewired with an inline switch and with a regular lampholder whilst retaining the large ceramic fitting of the original lampholder.
Has original brackets and base and is adjustable up and do and swivels.

 ANTIQUE FLOORSTANDING DENTAL LAMP
A great shaped vintage medical lamp lamp on castors.Fantastic quality-all metal.Complete and working,some wear to chroming.The light pivots , turns and can be adjusted up or down the stem.There is a swtch positioned half way up the stem.

 LARGE ANTIQUE SEARCHLIGHT ON STAND
A large vintage chromed brass searchlight in full working order on a goo d vintage tripod stand.The central column of the stands moves up and down by a brass rack and pinion mechanism wound by a little handle.
Supplied with a searchlight bulb and also a normal 300 watt bulb.The light is complete,adjustable and in excellent condition.The beam can also be adjusted using a knob on the outside of the body which moves the bulb towards and away from the mirror.Probably originally a ships light.Very good quality.Would work well in or outdoors.

 VINTAGE HANOVIA "ALIEN" LAMP
A vintage floor standing hanovia medical lamp.The lamp head has a distinctly alien look about it when viewed front on and a similar light was used in the alien 3 film in the medical ward.
It stands on castors,the cross bar pivots on the stand and the lamp is counterbalanced at one end by the transformer behind which is a handle which adjusts the lamp head rotationally and up and down.
Supplied with new bulb.
