Ceramic console table

A rare antique art deco ceramic / china bathroom console table by Jacob Delafon, the longstanding French sanitary ware manufacturer. Octagonal stepped top with conforming pedestal base. French approx 1930s. Designed to fit against a wall - the rear straight of the top is unglazed and has two holes for screws or bolts. although it is very stable freestanding as is. The pedestal is glazed all round. In excellent condition with only minor marks and scratches and one small "ding" to the top ( approx 3mm x 1mm x 0.25mm deep) Dimensions in inches/cms; 29.75"/76cms wide by 25"/63.5cms deep (top) Top is 4"/10cms thick. 31.5"/80cms tall Pedestal base is max 12"/31cms square
