Silver Plated Table Lamp

A fine and elegant silver plated brass table lamp by Faraday & Son (marked F&S 37 to lead weighted base). Excellent quality and in very good condition (few tiny losses, some scratches visible under harsh light) This lamp extends by approx 12"/30cm or so (you would never guess looking at it) with an inner octagonal stem - which can be seen in one of the photos. However please note if you wish to extend by more than an inch the main stem needs to be unscrewed to loosen the added flex within. Rewired with 2.5 meters (exposed) silver flex. The original beautifully designed integral switch has been bypassed but the lamp retains an early replacement silver plated switched lampholder. Dimensions in inches/cms; 19.125"/49cm minimun height ( rising to approx 80cm extended) 5.375"/14cm base diameter.
