Students Lamp with Holophane Shade

A highly adjustable antique nickel plated brass students lamp with cast iron weighted base. c1920. Adjustable up and down, and around the stem. The swan neck also rotates. Excellent condition, fully working and complete. Adjusts well and stays in position. Cleaned and polished. Some fading to nickel plate as per photos. Paired with an antique similar period Holophane shade (imprinted on rim). The lamp can be sold without this shade if so wished. Rewired with original switched lampholder, 3 meters "rose pink" fabric flex and a traditional hard plastic plug. Dimensions in inches/cms; 18.5"/47cm tall to top of stem loop. Max depth approx. 12"/30cm. 5.25"/13.5cm base diameter. Approx. 2.25kg. Price £385 with shade or £325 w/o.
