Very Good Bankers Lamp

A large antique brass bankers lamp with painted metal trough shade. Made of cast brass parts including the circular moulded base (also cast iron weighted). Top quality and in excellent condition. The fully polished finish can be retained with a periodic light hand polish (brasso) or left to age. There is a satisfying "clunk" to the original switch. The trough shade has been repainted / sprayed inside in satin white to improve the light output / quality and also painted and waxed on the outside. Rewired with 2 meters (exposed) "havana gold" fabric flex and a traditional hard plastic plug. Dimensions in inches/cms; 17.5"/44.5cm tall. 9.5"/24cm max width (shade). 6"/15cm base diameter.
