Chinoiserie Lamp & Original Shade

An antique chinoiserie turned wooden table lamp painted on red ground with a similar period quality lobed shade. The shade has gilded composition decoration top and bottom and painted flowers. The lamp and shade were bought together and presumably always been paired.The price of the shade is pencilled on the inside (20/6). Great condition. Cast iron weighted base. New quality fabric applied to the base. Cleaned and waxed. Rewired with 2.5m fabric flex, traditional plug and an old switched lampholder. Earthed and PAT tested. Dimensions in inches/cms; 23"/59cm inc. shade (17"/43cm tall w/o shade to top of lampholder). 6.25"/16cm base diameter. Please note I have another antique chinoiserie table lamp available.
