Nickel Brass Students Lamp

An antique nickel plated brass students / desk / work lamp with adjustable (see photos) swan neck arm, carrying loop and spun circular base (cast iron weighted). French 1920s. Marked BREVETE S.G.D.G. Matched with a similar period or earlier opal glass wavy edged shade. Complete and in good working condtion. The faded nickel has been cleaned and lightly polished. Rewired with 2.5m fabric flex, nickel plated brass safety-switched lampholder and traditional plug. Dimensions in inches/cms; 18"/46cm tall. 5"/12.5cm base diameter. 13"/33cm max width inc. shade. 2.45kg.
