Gilt Brass Gas Lamp

An antique tall gilt brass gas lamp by Richard Everard & Sons. With repousse, gadrooning and scrolled decoration. English, 19th century. Gilt in very good aged condition. Wooden base. This has been converted from gas some time ago (say mid century or earlier). And now cleaned, polished and fettled up again with 3m fabric flex, tradtional hard plastic plug. The old gilt brass switched lampholder has been retained. New fabric to base. Some "lean" to this - looks vertical with flex at back.
